A man who died after being assaulted in the street in Grimsby on Monday's been named today by Humberside Police.

45 year old Tony Richardson died in hospital following the attack on Old Market Place.

Detective Chief Inspector Stewart Miller said, "We are investigating a number of new lines of enquiry and want to thank the public for the response by them in coming forward with information.

"We are still appealing for anyone with information that would help us identify a man we want to speak to in connection with the assault. He is described as a white man, aged 20-45 years, with dark rimmed glasses. He wore a beige or grey waist length jacket with a peaked hood, which was up. He was also wearing dark trousers and grey or brown trainers.

Police have today issued a photo of a man who they think might've seen what happened and would like to talk to him (he's pictured above).
