Man Charged With 45 Child Sexual Exploitation Offences

Operation Clover detectives have charged a Goole man with 45 offences relating to child sexual exploitation in Rotherham.

Arshid Hussain, 40, of High Street, East Cowick, has this afternoon (Thursday 11 June) been charged with a string of offences including indecent assault, unlawful sexual intercourse and unlawful imprisonment.

He’s also been charged with causing a child to be removed from their parent, assault, and procuring of a female to have sexual intercourse.

Hussain has been bailed to appear before Rotherham Magistrates Court on 25 June 2015 at 2pm.

He has been charged as part of Operation Clover, a joint investigation by South Yorkshire Police in partnership with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and the Crown Prosecution Service.

It is one of a number of non-recent child sexual exploitation investigations in Rotherham and South Yorkshire Police continues to work in partnership with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and the Crown Prosecution Service.
