Man arrested on suspicion of stealing a vehicle in Bridlington

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle in Bridlington.

It was reported that a vehicle had been stolen from the town yesterday (Monday 8th August) at around 5pm.

Officers located the vehicle and brought it to a stop near Howden, where a man tried to flee.

He was arrested after being located on the B1230 shortly after, and remains in custody at this time.
