Officers were called to Markeaton Park Kingswood on Saturday afternoon after concerns were raised .
The 33 year was also arrested on 2 counts of assaulting an emergency worker and affray.
Inspector Carly Ives leading the investigation said: “Whilst thankfully nobody sustained any serious injuries, I understand that this is likely to have left those living what is normally a quiet neighbourhood, cause for concern.
“I’d like to reassure the community that this was an isolated incident and they can expect to see officers in the area continuing to conduct a number of lines of enquiry to understand the circumstances surrounding the disturbance. I would encourage anybody with any concerns to please speak to one of the team.
“We would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident, or anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage, who has not yet spoken to us to contact us on 101, quoting log 341 of 26 August.
