Man arrested as murder investigation launched in Selby
A murder investigation's underway after an incident at a property in Selby.
North Yorkshire Police received a report of an altercation in a flat in Finkle Street at about 8.45am on Tuesday 29 December 2020.
A man had sustained significant and life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics, but sadly died.
A woman who was also there had also suffered injury and was taken to hospital for treatment but she's not believed to be in a life-threatening condition.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and remains in custody.

Police say officers and PCSOs from Selby’s Neighbourhood Policing Team will be in the area to provide reassurance to residents.
