Man admits killing two Hull boys after they were knocked off their bike

An East Yorkshire man has admitted to killing two boys after they were knocked off their bike in Hull in October 2020.

Jack Hart, 32, from Anlaby Road has pleaded guilty to two counts of causing death by dangerous driving,

10 year old Steven Duffield and 11 year old Mason Deakin were last seen outside before they were hit while riding the same bike over the flyover down Anlaby Road, Hull.

Both children were taken to hospital where Steven died from his injuries – Mason had been fighting for his life but died two weeks later.

Hart is due to be sentenced at Hull Crown Court on Wednesday.
