Man admits killing Hull KR fan on night out in Scarborough

A man has admitted killing a Hull KR fan who was a night out in Scarborough in September 2022.
59-year-old Peter Houghton died in hospital after he was assaulted in Newborough on the 17 September 2022.
35-year-old Scott Anthony Connell from Scarborough pleaded guilty to manslaughter at Leeds Crown Court.
He has been granted bail and is expected to appear in court again on the 12 September 2023 for sentencing.
