Investigation Underway Into Grimsby Bus Crash
The Stagecoach bus crashed into the Town Hall yesterday afternoon.
An investigation is underway after a bus crashed into Grimsby Town Hall yesterday.
The Stagecoach bus left Town Hall Street and veered into the building at around 3.15pm.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
A spokeswoman for Stagecoach said:
"At around 3.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 1 December), one of our buses was involved in an incident on Town Hall Street in which it appears to have left the road and made contact with the Town Hall building. We understand that nobody on board the bus, or the driver, is thought to have been seriously injured, however our main concern is for the welfare of those involved in this incident.
"Safety is our absolute priority. We are assisting the police with their inquiries as well as carrying out our own investigation into the circumstances."
