Investigation after 1-year-old dies after collision in Scunthorpe

Investigations are continuing after a one year old baby died following a collision with a van in Scunthorpe.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Police say a grey Renault Kangoo hit the child on Southfield Road at around 4pm on Friday.
A Police spokesperson has said:
"We are investigating a collision between a car and a one year-old child which happened on 7 July at 4pm on Southfield Road in Scunthorpe."
"A grey Renault Kangoo van collided with the child who suffered fatal injuries."
"A number of witnesses have already spoken to us but if you saw anything that would help with our enquiries please call the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 413 of 7 July."
