600 new jobs are to be created in Barton-upon-Humber after Wren Kitchens announced a £40 million expansion.
The kitchen producer is to open a new manufacturing facility off Falkland Way to keep up with customer demand.
The new jobs to be created between now and 2017 will be across manufacturing, engineering, IT, customer services and training.
Currently the site - known as The Nest - is used as the company’s head office.
More than 400 people are already employed on the site which was taken over in 2013 from the American firm of Kimberly-Clark.
Wren’s Finance Director Mark Pullan said: “Since we established the business it has grown relatively quickly. Company sales now exceed quarter of a billion pounds and the company employs 2,491 people of which 1,352 are employed in the Humber Region.
"The company has experienced unprecedented sales growth since Christmas and over the next few years will be looking to almost triple the number of retail showrooms in the UK from 54 to 150.
"As a local business we are delighted to be able to create more manufacturing jobs in the Humber Region. It is particularly pleasing that we are able to bring manufacturing back to the site at Barton Upon Humber, as the factory was originally built as a manufacturing plant for Kimberly Clark."
Alongside the developments at Barton there will be an expansion of the operations at both Howden and Scunthorpe and a further 150 full time positions are currently being recruited for at these sites.
