A Hull woman has told us she backs a new scheme designed to get people to check for signs of cancer so the problem can be treated earlier.

Morrisons have teamed up with the NHS to sell men's boxer shorts and women's bras that have QR codes and NHS advice on the label, with information on signs of cancer to look out for.

Sarah Walton is from Hull, and had a lump in her breast checked,

it was found she had breast cancer that spread to her liver.

She gave us her reaction to the new scheme.

If it doesn't go away you really should be asking your GP to do more

"If there is somebody who's found a lump but is a little bit reluctant to get checked out - and we're all living busy lives these days - it's just sort of a daily reminder popping up saying - have you checked that yet?"

"Everytime they pull on a pair of boxer shorts you could give them a squeeze - I really do think this is a really good initiative."

"Might not even a lump in the breast they find - it might be they have backache or pain in a different area of the body."

"If it doesn't go away after so long with the aid of painkillers then you really should be asking your GP to do more."

"It could save somebody a lot of heartache if they manage to catch their cancer early and get it all treated and sorted."

"The more people that can do that the better for everyone."
