A woman's been seriously injured after a suspected fall from a first floor flat window in Hull.

Humberside Police were called to Melrose Street, off Anlaby Road, at 10.30pm on Friday (8th May).

Officers say she has potentially life-threatening injuries and they're investigating how it happened.

Humberside Police's DI Richard Sage said, "We are asking for anyone who may have attended the flat on the first floor of No 10 Melrose Street during the day and evening to get in touch with us.

"We believe that there may have been a party at address and we want to speak with anyone who attended. They may have important information that will help with our investigations and to establish the circumstances of the incident.

"We also want to identify the drivers of two vehicles, a small red car and a silver Seat Leon which were seen in the area at the time, who may be able to help with our enquiries."
