For the second year in a row Hull's biggest summer music event has been cancelled for 2021.

"It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel Humber Street Sesh 2021 which was planned to take place on September 18th this year.
"We have battled a series of difficulties following the cancellation of Humber Street Sesh 2020 and the financial loss incurred, which was compounded by rejection from the Cultural Recovery Fund.
"The current lack of government clarity concerning operating large-scale events; potential staffing uncertainties due to track and trace; the inability to obtain insurance and delays in flood defence barrier work that would drastically compromise the festival site and its capacity, have rendered the event unviable.
"We are so sorry to disappoint ticket holders but faced with insurmountable difficulties, we feel it is impossible to continue with plans for 2021.
"Humber Street Sesh will be back in 2022. We hope you will be there. Thank you for your understanding and support.
"Existing Humber Street Sesh ticket holders who booked via See Tickets, Gigantic and Hull Theatres (Hull Culture and Leisure) will receive a refund in due course."
