More than a thousand runners are set to pound the streets of Hull on Sunday as the city's second marathon takes place.

People from across the country - and as far away as Norway - have signed up for the event.

It starts and ends in the city centre and also takes in the likes of the Humber Bridge and KC Stadium.

There will be disruption for travellers on the day as a number of roads will have to be closed and buses cancelled to make way for the event.

To see the full list of road closures, head to:

Public transport will also be affected.

Particularly badly affected are buses in the west of the city, with Anlaby Road closed, and the Hessle area being cut off from the rest of Hull for most of the morning.

Buses which travel along Holderness Road and through Hull City Centre will also be severely affected. EYMS advise all passengers who are likely to travel on the day of the marathon to plan how they will get around by checking the full list of bus diversions at www.eyms.co.uk or by ringing BusLine on 01482 59 29 29
