Thousands of Hull KR fans are beginning their trip to Wembley today to cheer on the team in the Challenge Cup final.

The Robins take on Leeds Rhinos tomorrow afternoon - with around 10,000 fans set to make the game.

It's the first time they've reached the final in almost 30 years and have only ever lifted the trophy once before - against city rivals Hull FC back in 1980.

It's set to be a very tough fixture for the Red and Whites - but despite being the underdogs against the Rhinos, head coach Chris Chester says the team's full of confidence.

Yesterday - the team were given a heroes send off as they departed from the KC Lightstream Stadium for Wembley.

Well Chester has already named his 19-man squad for Saturday’s Challenge Cup Final.

Half back Albert Kelly is named amongst the 19 players and will be given as long as possible to prove his fitness after picking up a knee ligament injury in the semi-final victory over Warrington Wolves earlier this month.

Tyrone McCarthy will captain the side at Wembley and he takes his place in the squad alongside several other players who were rested for Sunday’s Super 8s clash against Widnes Vikings.

The skipper is one of three players in the Hull KR squad to have previously played in a Challenge Cup final alongside Graeme Horne and Shaun Lunt, with the latter confirming he has signed a new four-year contract with the club at this morning’s Wembley departure event.

The 19-man squad in full is:

14 Mitch Allgood 6 Maurice Blair 24 John Boudebza 2 Ben Cockayne 1 Kieran Dixon 15 James Donaldson 20 James Green 12 Graeme Horne 7 Albert Kelly 11 Kevin Larroyer 31 Shaun Lunt 13 Tyrone McCarthy 4 Josh Mantellato 34 Tony Puletua 18 Liam Salter 5 Ken Sio 32 Dane Tilse 8 Adam Walker
