Halfback Joe Keyes is leaving Hull KR at the end of the current Super League season.

Despite starring in their Magic Weekend win over Leigh Centurions he's not been a regular starting fixture in Tony Smith's side.

The head coach says he leaves with the club's best wishes: "After many discussions with Joe, we sat down together and I think the best thing for him and his career is to go and be a starting player and play regular rugby.

"I’d like to thank him for everything and we will be keeping an eye on him for the coming seasons and watching him develop and get better. It's been a pleasure working with him so far and look forward to anything that might happen in the future."
