Hull second rower Andre Savelio has signed a two-year contract extension which will keep him with the club until the end of 2023.

The 26-year-old former St Helens and Warrington forward has scored 11 tries in 38 appearances for the Black and Whites since joining them from Brisbane Broncos in 2019.

Hull coach Brett Hodgson said:

"We've seen Andre show his true potential at stages throughout the season and, when he plays well, the team tends to play well.

"He is a talented English forward whose best years are ahead of him. He knows what he needs to work on to improve and find consistency in his game and we're keen to help him develop over the next couple of years."
