Humberside Police launch appeal following serious collision in Hull

One person has been left with life-threatening injuries after the incident

Police in Humberside are appealing for information following a serious collision in Hull that left one person with life-threatening injuries.

Officers first received reports of an incident taking place on Sutton Road close to Beverley Road in the north of the city on Saturday evening (June 8th).

When responders arrived on the scene shortly after 6:20 p.m., they found a motorbike that had collided into a Ford Transit van.

The driver of the motorbike was taken to hospital by emergency services, where he has been described as having "life-threatening" injuries.

Police arrested the driver of the Transit van, who was identified as 48-year-old man, and currently remains in the custody of Humberside Police.

Enquiries into the crash are still ongoing, and police are now launching an appeal for information and witnesses following the incident.

Specifically, the force is looking to speak to anyone who may have been around the area at the time of the collision to come forward.

Alternatively, anyone who may have any dashcam footage of the area at the time of the crash is being asked to come forward.
