Hull City confirm new head coach
The new man in charge is Liam Rosenior
Hull City have confirmed who their new head coach is.
As expected it's former player Liam Rosenior.
He was unveiled to the media at a press conference.
It's been a difficult season so far in the championship and in September the club parted company with former boss Shota Arveladze.
Rosenoir has managerial experience having taken over on an interim basis at Derby County recently.
He was spotted at the game on Tuesday where the Tigers lost 3-1 to Middlesbrough.
Here are some of things he said at yesterdays press conference:
"For me it's just setting down what I'm about, what I believe in, getting to know the players, getting to know the staff."
"I think we have the perfect game on Saturday, I don't think there's a better mental test than going to Millwall."
"I can't wait to see the players mentality and their character and it will give me a lot to learn."
"It's a challenge but every single manager in the Championship is going through that challenge".
"You look at the points total in the league and everybody's so close."
"My job in the short term is to try and tip the balance in our favour, in our fundamentals and the way we work".
"In the long term it's to imprint a long term philosophy and vision of the footballing side."
"The first thing I need to do is get to know them."
"My job is to win games but it's also to improve players to win games."
"It's a clean slate for every player and I want to find things."
"Myself and Wayne last year at Derby we had to find gems and polish gems and that's the most pleasing aspect of coaching "
