Health bosses reveal Hull Fair fears
They're concerned infections could rise because of it
Health bosses have raised concerns after thousands of people packed into Hull fair over the weekend.
It’s the first time the largest travelling funfair has opened since 2019.
We've been speaking to Councillor Hester Bridges about the issue.
She said " people should make sure they've had both doses of the vaccine, maybe plan to go at quieter times, continue to wear a mask in crowded areas".
"Rates might go up because of the fair but it's really difficult to assess because it's an outside event and has been done since the pandemic".
"We've worked closely with the Showman's Guild and we expect every ride to be cleaned after each set of people get off."
