Drivers in Hull are being reminded a stretch of the A63 in Hull will be fully closed this weekend, so work can continue on a new underpass.

There's been a series of overnight closures recently, but National Highways say they have to shut the road in both directions between Daltry Street and Roger Milward Way for over 48 hours.

They're at the stage in works where the road has to be shut, with the closure from 8 pm this evening (14th June) until 6 am on Monday 17th June.

National Highways say they will keep the westbound carriageway open until 10 pm on Friday though, to help with traffic for the Hull KR fixture against Huddersfield Giants at Craven Park.

For Hull FC's fixture in the Rugby League tomorrow, the city centre is likely to be busier than usual, fans are being asked to follow signed matchday parking routes to the MKM stadium.
