A scheme in Bridlington allows families to access free school uniform for their children.

It has been set up after a collaboration between the town's Salvation Army and Christ Church.

Maggie Masters is one of the co-founders of Uniform4All and said: "Schools in Bridlington have a logo so we have all the school uniform for each school. We have generic school uniforms like plain white polo tops, plain yellow polo tops, lots of trousers, black and grey trousers, pinafore dresses, summer dresses and if a child is in desperate need of a winter coat then we're also happy to give.

"Everybody's been so generous and very often people will bring uniform that their children has grown out of and take away the next size so we always have uniform. At the moment we have quite a lot but obviously it's second hand. Morrisons have been generous and will donate some uniform which are brand new which we put in the lock up as well.

"At the moment because we're so short of helpers, we have a lovely lady called Heather who comes in on a Tuesday and opens up from 11am until 1pm for people to come in to collect uniform or see what we've got. We're looking for more volunteers so we can open up more often during the week. We're just trying to get it out wider to the schools that we have these uniforms if they're desperate."

Anyone who wishes to contact them to donate uniform or need any help, you can email briduniform4all@outlook.com or visit their Facebook group.
