Former Hull FC star seriously ill with Covid
Frank Pritchard is currently in a Sydney hospital
A member of Hull FC's Challenge Cup-winning team in 2016, is seriously ill with Covid.
Former New Zealand rugby league international Frank Pritchard is reportedly on life support in a Sydney hospital because of complications from the virus.
The 38-year-old also played for Canterbury, Penrith and Parramatta during his career as well as Hull FC.
The hospitalisation was announced by Canterbury, whose football general manager Phil Gould said on twitter: "Hearts and prayers are with former Bulldog Frank Pritchard who is in hospital battling Covid.
"We send all our best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. Our love to Frank's family and friends."
Hull FC have also sent a message on social media urging their former player to "keep fighting".
