A key route between North Cave and Newport remains partially closed as firefighters deal with a fire.

Flames can be seen coming from a steel structure at the scene - which is nearby to the B12-30.

It remains shut between the BP garage and the motorway junction.

Crews have been pumping water from a canal in Gilberdyke to put out the flames.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, said:

"Our crews are still on scene and the B1230 which can be accessed from J38 is fully closed. Please avoid the area and make alternative travel plans."
