It's a feel good day for our residents
We spoke to East Riding of Yorkshire Council leader Anne Handley ahead of the local stage of the race.
"Crowds and crowds of people come to wave to the bike riders as they go by."
"It's a feelgood day for our residents to have a good day out and bring a picnic, and enjoy themselves."
It should be a good day all round.
"I'm absolutely delighted, it's wonderful and on possibly the hottest week of the year, which is great for everybody who's going to support it but I'm not sure how our wonderful bike riders are going to feel!"
"There will have to be rolling road closures, but I'm sure the enjoyment and the entertainment will make up for a 10 or 15 minute delay."
"The atmosphere and the roads they go on with the weather and our wonderful residents and our businesses - it should be a good day all round."
