Health bosses in the East Riding are hoping more people will take up the booster vaccine than the last roll-out.
It is as people are being offered the fourth jab with those eligible invited to book online.
Zoe Stevens, public health nurse at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: "There were still people that we did want to come forward for the booster last time that were invited that didn't and that could be for a number of reasons. I think sometimes it's about making sure the information that we get across to people is clear to say that if you're eligible, we strongly recommend that you do get it.
"People in those groups that are eligible immediately are the over-75s, care home residents, care home staff and frontline staff like hospital staff or anybody else that works in a caring capacity. Anybody else that's 12 or above that's deemed as immunosuppressed or clinically vulnerable, they're all eligible now.
"With all vaccines they wean over time so therefore our immune response to these viruses is weaker over time. We know that the more particularly vulnerable groups are more at risk from the virus and the effects of the virus in terms of severity and possibly hospitalisations.
"It's still a three-month gap in-between either the last dose or having recently had Covid, so what would happen if somebody tried to book on the system and it was recognised they had a vaccine eight-weeks ago, they wouldn't actually be able to book so there's that mechanism in place to stop people booking."
