It's as a new app has been created by Police and tech companies to support those with abusive partners.
It lets you log evidence of abuse without saving it directly on your phone - and also signposts to various support services.
Steph Price is from the Blue Door charity which supports victims across Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire - she says users still need to be careful...
"It's particularly important for victims of domestic abuse when they're ending abusive relationships, when they're moving on,
"Just to ensure they're safe online as well and they're safe on social media.
"There's lots of advice that can be given, and can be sourced online to help with privacy settings and security settings and suchlike."
The new app flags up support services, and lets victims catalogue any abuse - without saving it directly on the phone, meaning they can safely build up evidence of what's happening to them
