A crash in the village of Holme Upon Spalding Moor has left a driver in a critical condition.

Their convertible car and a lorry collided in Howden Road yesterday lunchtime.

Humberside Police are appealing for information and witnesses.

Officers investigating a road traffic collision are appealing for information following the incident yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 23 July).

It was reported that a white BMW 1 series convertible and a lorry collided on Howden Road, Holme Upon Spalding Moor at approximately 12.30pm.

The driver of the BMW was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment and remains in a critical condition.

Any witnesses who saw the collision or has any dashcam/CCTV footage of either vehicle before or around the time of the incident are asked to contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 223 of 23 July.
