Coronation inspired artwork in Hull
Over 16,000 jewels have been put on by hand
A piece of art linking the Coronation of King Charles to the importance of protecting trees is being displayed in Hull.
It's at the indoor Trinity market for the next couple of months.
Keith Key - artist of 'God save the royal tree' says the throne he created will see him hold the coronation of "King Charles the Chestnut Tree", on the same day as our human King, "King Charles the third" has his coronation.
He told us it took him five months to make:
"There's over sixteen thousand five hundred jewels on that I had to stick on by hand.
"I decorated it to make it a throne of opulence for the coronation of a royal tree.
"I thought about the concept about Christmas time thinking about the coronation. A lot of my work centres on the environment - I love trees I think they do so much for us."
Keith is a local Hull artist studying at the University of Hull and Hull College of Fine arts:
"I dabble in art and I draw, I do different things, and trees are always an inspiration to me in the spring - in the autumn. The colours are just fantastic - they just enhance my life and I hope they do others."
