Cleethorpes home grown charity to open cafe.
KADAR for Kids charity, founded by a Cleethorpes mum is to open new café today.
KADAR, Kidney Disease and Renal Support for Kids, a charity started by local mum Heather Davis is opening the doors of their new cafe on Sidney Park today.
The charity which offers support to families whose children have Chronic Kidney Disease is opening the cafe in order to not only give the charity a base but offer something to the local community.
The charity, founded on social media, supports over 500 families mainly in the UK but some users even coming from the United States.
Founder Heather Davis, whose daughter has the disease told Viking FM that she wanted to give the park some support by offering a warm and comfortable place for local people to enjoy. Heather is also expecting the cafe to be popular with local dog walkers.
Heather also explained to Viking, that it’s important to offer these families help, as the disease is life long and can be limiting to children.
