Care worker mugged in Scunthorpe
Woman left injured and shaken after incident at Burringham Road on Saturday evening
A female care worker's been left with minor injuries and very shaken after being mugged in Scunthorpe.
She was dragged from her bike whilst cycling on Burringham Road on Saturday (18th April) around 6.30am and her handbag was taken by a man.
He's been described as white, in his early 20s and dressed all in black, including a black bobble hat.
Humberside Poilce's DI Vicky Huyton said, "Understandably, this was a very upsetting incident for a key worker in the local community. If you witnessed anything suspicious in the area this morning, I would urge you to make contact with us.
"I would also ask that drivers who were in the area at the time check their dash cam footage."
