Suspected cannabis plants discovered in Scunthorpe property

Between 100 and 150 illegal cannabis plants are worth around £30,000

Officers from Humberside Police have discovered suspected cannabis plants, believed to be worth an estimated value of £30,000.

The cannabis plants were found at an address after officers from the Kinetic Intervention Team carried out a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant on Grosvenor Street South in Scunthorpe yesterday (Tuesday 2 September).

Officers discovered between 100 to 150 plants.

Police are investigating the identity of those involved. They are urging that anyone with information that could support their investigation should come forward.
