Brits waste 21 days a year on self-inflicted tasks that they admit are a waste of time
Can you guess the most popular way?
According to research Brits spend 25 billion hours a year wasting time through various ways including checking social media, looking for holidays and even searching for their car!
The most 'popular' way of wasting time however is 'deciding what to wear' with 46% of the vote.
People in the Yorkshire and Humber spend around 40 mins a week (or 2 hours 53 minutes a month) deciding what to wear, are you one of them?

Nationally, searching for a lost car in a car park was a close second to choosing what to wear, with 41% and browsing through other people's social media profiles came in third.
When it came to external frustrations 24% said traffic jams were the biggest source of wasted time with cold calling bringing in 22% of the vote.

At work it is believed that on average workers waste around 1.5 working days a week doing non-work related tasks, that's a massive 10.9 hours!
With all these wasted hours adding up it has meant that people are spending less time doing things they want to, such as spending it with their partner or catching up on their favourite TV shows. Surprisingly a massive 66% of those surveyed said that housework time is valuable as was making time for hobbies and exercising.
With the clocks going back this weekend will you waste your extra hour or spend it doing something productive?
