Bridlington man charged after dangerous driving pursuit
The driver allegedly failed to stop when requested
A 23-year-old man from Bridlington has been charged with multiple offences following reports of dangerous driving in the town.
Connor Woolmer, of Clarence Road, faces three counts of attempted wounding with intent, as well as charges of dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
He appeared before Hull Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning (2 September) where he was remanded in custody.
He is due back in court at a later date.
It follows an incident on Sunday, 31 August, when officers say they saw a known disqualified driver getting into a vehicle.
The driver allegedly failed to stop when requested, leading to a pursuit.
When the car finally came to a halt, it is claimed Woolmer drove towards officers as they approached.
