Over £100k worth of cannabis found in Bridlington house fire

Upon entering the property, emergency service workers found nearly 200 plants believed to be cannabis

£110k worth of cannabis was found by emergency services whilst attending a fire in Bridlington on Sunday (30th November).

Emergency services received reports that a property was on fire on Fort Terrace.

Officers found 198 plants they believe to be cannabis there.

The grow has since been dismantled and seized.

There are no reported injuries as a result of the fire.

An investigation has been launched, and officers are urging anyone with information or concerns to contact them on 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
