A Beverley Paralympic star hopes his performance at Tokyo 2020, will encourage others with disabilities to get into sports.

Cyclist, Adam Duggleby won a silver medal at the games.

He piloted team mate Steve Bate to second place.

Adam says:

"It would be nice to feel like seeing the para athletes on TV might inspire people that have got disabilities. And people like Steve who've got eye conditions where they're maybe not sure if they're eligible to compete. - that would come forward and try and get classified to compete in these events"

"It would be nice to feel like you're getting people into exercise, whether they do it internationally or domestically racing or competing or maybe they are just doing it for fun. There's plenty of things you can do in cycling where it's just turning up to your local club - and just going out for a club ride to the cafe"
