Andrea Jenkyns has been announced as the first ever Mayor of the Greater Lincolnshire County Combined Authority.
The result was revealed in Grimsby Town Hall on Friday morning, with a majority of almost 40,000 over the Conservatives.
Andrea Jenkyns will now oversee a wide range of issues across Lincolnshire including housing and transport, alongside being a powerful voice for the county.
She is now in charge of issues that impact over one million people in Lincolnshire.
Andrea Jenkyns said there would be "an end to soft touch Britain" after Reform UK's gains in the polls.
She said: "The fightback to save the heart and soul of our great country has now begun.
"Now that Reform is in a place of power, we can help start rebuilding Britain. Inch by inch, Reform will reset Britain to its glorious past.
"We will tackle illegal migration. We've been working on policies.
"I say no to putting people in hotels. Tents are good enough for France, they should be good enough for here in Britain."

Working closely with local councils, businesses, and government, the mayor's goal will be to champion Greater Lincolnshire on a national stage and advocate for funding.
With the devolution deal, there is a £720m investment fund (£24m per year for 30 years) to invest in key priority areas of infrastructure and skills development.
Additionally, there is a one off £28.4m capital investment in Greater Lincolnshire’s priorities – which is already being invested in new roads, infrastructure and housing sites.
There will also be local control over the £20m+ Adult Education Budget and a consolidated, multi-year transport fund.
