American who posted cyanide to suicide Hull man facing prison
Sidney Kilmartin mailed the substance to 49-year-old Andrew Denton from Hull who used it to kill himself.
An American man who posted cyanide to a suicidal man in Hull faces life in prison.
Sidney Kilmartin, who lived in the state of Maine, had previously sent Epsom salts to a number of people in a similar situation - telling them it was the poisonous substance.
Prosecutors say he later posted the real thing to Andrew Denton from Hull in 2012, to stop him reporting fraud that Kilmartin had been committing.
Kilmartin posed as a jeweller so a distributor to send the poisonous chemical.
No date has been set for the sentencing yet.
