200 pigs evacuate from a fire in an East Yorkshire village

No animals were injured in the blaze

200 pigs have had to be evacuated from a barn in an East Yorkshire village.

Firefighters were called to a blaze in Catfoss Lane, Brandesburton around 11:30 last night (21 November).

However, Humberside Fire and Rescue said no animals were injured at the incident in the village.

Three hose reels and two breathing apparatus were used in the agricultural building, with only slight damage caused.
