Take That given the keys to the 02 after matching Prince’s record
They matched his 21-show record
Take That have officially been awarded the keys to London’s 02 Arena after matching a record set by Prince.
The band has now performed 21 shows at the venue, after recently completing their ninth show in a residency of 10.
The key was designed using elements from Take That’s latest artwork and will be visible on the walk to the stage at the 02.
Pop legend Prince set the 21-show record at the London venue in 2007.
“We’ve loved each and every performance at The 02, and this run of ten nights has been particularly special,” said Take That.
