Kate Bush Album Sales Soar By 2813% Thanks To Comeback

Some albums are up by 8000%

Kate Bush album sales have soared by an incredible 2813% thanks to the iconic singer’s first live shows in 35 years.

Since the first date of her 22-date London Hammersmith Apollo residency on 22nd August, Kate Bush fans have been buying her records in their droves.

Kate’s seventh studio album, November 1993’s The Red Shoes, has enjoyed the biggest uplift on amazon.co.uk with sales leaping by 8000%.

Her timeless album ‘Hounds of Love’ has experienced a 5000% sales boost on Amazon UK, while ‘50 Words for Snow’ is up by 3114% and ‘The Whole Story’ has jumped by 1743%.

Collectively, Amazon says that her best known albums have combined sales 2813% higher than before the live residency kicked off.

The news comes days after Kate Bush set the record for the first female artist to have eight albums in the Top 40 simultaneously.
