ABBA’s Bjorn: "You’ll Never See Us Onstage Again"
ABBA turn down the chance to do a new tour.
Bjorn Ulvaeus has claimed that ABBA will never perform onstage again.
The Swedish pop group, also consisting of Benny Andersson, Agnetha Faltskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, never officially broke up and are reported to have turned down almost one billion dollars for a reunion tour.
"We took a break in '82, and it was meant to be a break," Ulvaeus told Billboard.
"It's still a break and will remain so. You'll never see us on stage again."
The band have also vowed to never release an official autobiography.
Therefore ABBA's new photo book is the closest fans will get to seeing the band perform live again.
Ulvaeus continued: "I'm not a nostalgic person, but looking at these pictures really took me back."
Fans are still able to enjoy the band’s music through award-winning musical Mama Mia which has been performed in more than 40 cities around the world and adapted for film in 2008.
