Christmas is here and no doubt you'll be having the Christmas tunes on, but what is your favourite Christmas song?
Thanks to the latest research we can reveal the Top 20 Christmas songs of all time and you're bound to find a few of your favourites in the list, from Wham!'s 'Last Christmas' and The Pogues', 'Fairytale of New York', to Chris Rea's 'Driving Home For Christmas' and East 17's 'Stay Another Day'. We love them all!

Originally written in 1934, 'Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town' has been covered over 200 times, with Bruce Springsteen releasing his version in 1975.
9) 'Merry Christmas Everyone' – Shakin’ Stevens
Released in 1985 this song was the Christmas number 1 the year it was released and has continued to re-enter the charts a number of times since due to downloads.
8) 'Driving Home For Christmas' – Chris Rea
Originally released in 1988 this song only got to 53, but it is still a much loved Christmas song.
7) 'Fairytale of New York' – The Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl
Released in 1987 'Fairytale of New York' has continued to be a very popular song ever since. It has even been named number 1 in the VH1 greatest Christmas song chart for three years in a row, in 2004, 2005, and 2006.
6) 'It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year' – Andy Williams
Dating from 1963 this Christmas classic was included on pop singer Andy Williams' first Christmas album, 'The Andy Williams Christmas Album'.
5) 'Do They Know It’s Christmas?' – Band Aid
There have been a number of versions of this, but it's the original version that is the most popular version. Watch the very moving video from 1984 below.
4) 'Last Christmas' – Wham!
Wham! originally released 'Last Christmas' in 1984, but their version is still very much a favourite today, despite a number of covers over the years.
3) 'Merry Xmas Everybody' – Slade
'Merry Xmas Everybody' was the band's sixth and final number 1 single in the UK, back in 1973, beating Wizzard's Christmas song 'Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day'.
2) 'Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day' – Wizzard
First released in 1973, this song was beaten to the number 1 spot by Slade's 'Merry Xmas Everybody, however it beat Slade this time appearing at number 2 in this countdown.
1) 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' – Mariah Carey
It might have been released in 1994, but it doesn't stop it being the best Christmas tune of all time! As soon as you hear the first few notes to this song you can't help but sing along.
