VW Festival charity raffle raises £18,277.90 for local sick, disabled and disadvantaged children across Yorkshire.

The VW Fesitval saw over 20,000 people through its gates at Harewood House as car enthusiasts mingled with fun seeking families and music fans to support the event.

Herbie Hospital kinded restored and donated a fantastic VW Beetle to raffle at the event in aid of Yorkshire's Cash for Kids!

The raffle broke all previous records and raised an amazing £18,277.90 for sick, disadvantaged and disabled children across Yorkshire.

Lisa Sullivan, Charity Manager of Radio Aire Cash for Kids said "It's been another hugeley successful year for the annual VW Festival with tens of thousands of visitors from near and far coming through the gates and enjoying a fantastic show.

Thanks to the hard work of the VW Festival team and the raffle raisers from Herbie Hospital, the love of a good festival and a fantastic VW Beetle to win helped smash previous years' records with a jaw dropping £18,277.90 raised for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children across Yorkshire. We can't thank everyone enough, especially all those who came and gave so generously."

The money raised will go towards all three Cash for Kids sites across Yorkshire to help local disadvantaged children.
