Santander Boost Mission Christmas
MISSION CHRISTMAS APPEAL BOOSTED BY DONATION
Viking FM’s Cash for Kids has received £4,432 to fund its Mission Christmas Appeal for disadvantaged children across East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.
The donation was provided by the Santander Foundation which offers grants to UK registered charities for projects that help disadvantaged people in local communities.
Cash for Kids is most well-known for Mission Christmas which is delivered every year to ensure that no child wakes up to nothing on Christmas Morning. The grant will fund the cost of logistics behind organising and running its project. The grant will also be used to purchase presents for teenagers and young babies to make a difference during the Christmas season.
Charlotte Pickering, Charity Manager at Viking FM’s Cash for Kids said: “We are delighted to receive the support from the Santander Foundation towards Mission Christmas this year. This donation will make an incredible difference to so many children and families this Christmas morning. A heartfelt thanks to all at Santander who are supporting the appeal this year.”
Laura McCully at Santander’s Hull King Edward Street branch said: “The Santander Foundation makes hundreds of donations every year to good causes throughout the UK. Our branch is committed to playing a key part in the community and we are delighted to be supporting Cash for Kids, and hope the donation makes a real difference to local people.”
You can drop your Mission Christmas off at any local Santander Branch up until Wednesday 16th December, to get involved with Mission Christmas this year, visit www.vikingfm.co.uk/mission
