The Queen’s switched to duvets

Royals no longer feeling down

It’s the Queen’s favourite residence but now the famous Windsor Castle has been given a 21st Century make-over.

The prestigious castle, which boasts 900 years of history, is filled with grand state rooms, banquet halls and cloisters, but now the Queen’s residence has caused controversy amongst staff after replacing traditional sheets and eiderdowns with modern duvets.

The housekeeper’s whose job it is to maintain all accommodation at the residence are not happy with modern change, with one of the members of staff sarcastically stating “They’ll be putting chocolates on the pillows next”.

The bed linen used at Windsor Castle is sourced from companies who have gained Royal Warrants. So no matter what, we are sure The Queen will approve.
