Peter Andre received negative comments at the weekend after performing his 90s top ten hit 'Mysterious Girl'.

The Aussie singer performed on the season finale of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway which took place on a cruise ship.

It seems that a number of viewers thought he was too 'cheesy', describing it as 'cheese over load' sic.

However the 43-year-old singer didn't think cheese was a bad thing responding to these remarks saying, 'Errr it's a sing a long of course it's cheesy :))'.

Despite having a handful of hits over the years the singer is best known for his 1996 single 'Mysterious Girl' which reached number one when he re-released it in 2004.
