'Get over it': Emily Blunt reveals Mary Poppins reboot will have all new music

Emily will be starring in the Disney remake in 2018

Emily Blunt has revealed that the 2018 version of Mary Poppins won't contain any of the originial music from the classic 1964 film.

It was announced back in May that Disney were working on a revamped version of Mary Poppins. Emily Blunt will be starring as the favourite nanny, alongside Hamilton creator Lin Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw and Meryl Streep.

The classic 1964 film starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke has an iconic soundtrack, but in an interview with Magic FM, Emily delivered a blow to fans.

'Get over it. There's a new Mary in town!.'

Emily is currently starring in the hotly anticipated adaptation of The Girl on the Train, alongside Luke Evans, Justin Theroux, hayley Bennett.
