Ahead of the BRIT Awards 2016, we take a look back at some of the best performances from the prestigious award show.

Michael Jackson, 1996

MJ gave an unbelievable performance of ‘Earth Song’ at the 16th BRIT Awards back in 1996.

Spice Girls, 1997

The performance which brought the birth of ‘that’ famous Union Jack dress. Posh, Scary, Sporty, Baby and Ginger spice performed ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ and it was brilliant.

Whitney Houston, 1999

Whitney graced the BRIT stage in 1999 when she performed up beat track ‘It Not Right But It’s Ok’ giving the perfect vocal before a very explosive ending.

Eurhythmics and Stevie Wonder, 1999

Eurhythmics and Steve Wonder joined forces in 1999 to perform and truly spectacular medley set for the BRIT’s crowd.

Kylie Minogue, 2002

Kylie entered the BRIT stage in style in 2002 during her performance of ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ and wowed audiences with the spectacular production.

Robbie Williams and Joss Stone, 2004

King of the BRIT’s, Mr Robbie Williams performed a perfect rendition of ‘Angels’ in 2004 and was joined on staged by Joss Stone. Robbie encouraged a lot of crowd interaction with this oneâ€Ĥ

U2, 2009

Irish rockers U2 returned to the BRIT stage in 2009 with a great performance of ‘Get Your Boots On’.

Adele, 2011

Adele gave a flawless performance of her track ‘Someone Like You’ at the 2011 awards, leaving the audience with goosebumps.

Madonna, 2015

And finally, the performance everybody remembers (for all the wrong reasons), but it was still brilliant nonetheless.
