It's after a teenager says she was approached by him in Swadlincote last month
Derbyshire Police are trying to trace a man after reports of a schoolgirl being approached in Swadlincote.
It happened on Plummer Road at Newhall, near to Chrysanthemum Court, between 8am and 8.50am on Friday 3rd February 2023.
A girl reported she was approached by a man who tried to grab her as she was walking past.
The man is described as being aged between 30 and 45 years old, with brown unbrushed hair and was wearing jogging bottoms and a grey t-shirt. He may have also had a cut or scar on his cheek.
It is thought the road may have been busy with passing traffic.
